TMA was created to give business owners practical support to work through challenges, bring structure to their business and turn ideas into action.
Every business is different, and so is the support it needs. We start by understanding what’s happening in your business, then focus on what will make the biggest difference whether that’s a clearer plan, better processes, a project that needs to move forward or simply an extra set of experienced hands.
The goal is simple: help you spend less time figuring out how to make things work and more time moving your business forward.
From the founder
I’ve been on the business-owner side too.
I’m Aruna Bhaw Gunputh, founder of The Mentor Associates.
My career has taken me through strategy, operations, customer experience and business transformation across different industries and corporate environments. But some of my most valuable experience came from building and running a growing organization myself.
For the past eight years, I’ve worked through the same realities business owners face every day: planning and budgets, staffing, policies, customer experience, marketing, compliance, administration and the constant decisions that come with keeping a business moving.
That experience shapes how I work today. I understand the strategy, but I also understand what has to happen after the meeting is over.
That is why TMA focuses on practical solutions that can actually work in your business, not recommendations that sit on a shelf.

Why I created TMA
Over the years, I kept seeing the same challenge: business owners are expected to know how to do everything.
You may be excellent at what your business provides, but that doesn’t automatically mean you should know how to build a budget, create a policy, redesign a process, manage growth or solve every operational problem that comes your way.
TMA exists so you don’t have to figure all of that out alone.
Sometimes you need advice. Sometimes you need someone to build the solution with you. And sometimes you simply need an experienced person to help you think through what comes next.
That’s the role we want to play.
